Mechanical Site Supervisor
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Location: South Wales (with UK-wide travel as required) About the Role We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Supervisor to join a growing building services team delivering large-scale commercial new build and refurbishment projects across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to lead site operations, ensuring installations are completed to the highest standards, on time, and within programme requirements. Key Responsibilities * Manage all aspects of mechanical installation at site level. * Supervise operatives and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with drawings and specifications. * Oversee health, safety, and environmental compliance, including toolbox talks. * Ensure quality standards using internal QA procedures and maintain accurate records. * Report on site progress and attend client meetings. * Assist with commissioning and handover processes in collaboration with the Project Manager. About You * Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Mechanical Site Supervisor on large-scale commercial projects. * NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Heating & Ventilation (Commercial), Building Services Installation, or Plumbing Systems. * Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and installation methods. * Previous experience managing subcontractors is desirable. * Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and IT literacy (Microsoft Office). * Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel (including overnight stays when required). Working Hours 37 hours per week: * Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM * Friday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
(Some overtime or weekend work may be required. Lodging provided for projects away from home.)
