Your new role
As a Finance & Reconciliation Officer, you’ll be a key part of the day‑to‑day finance operations, ensuring all financial transactions are handled accurately and efficiently. Your role will involve:
- Completing daily reconciliations for customer funding and collection accounts
- Processing supplier invoices, staff expenses, and arranging payments
- Managing and monitoring the company card system
- Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Contributing to effective cash management and maintaining high‑quality financial data
- Assisting with ad‑hoc finance projects and helping to enhance internal processes.
- Experience within financial accounting, bookkeeping, or a similar finance role
- Strong understanding of bank reconciliations and cash management
- Confident Excel skills and ability to work with large data sets
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Organised, methodical, and able to manage competing priorities
- Strong numerical thinking and problem‑solving abilities
- A proactive, learning‑focused mindset
- Knowledge of financial services products (advantageous but not essential)
