Nursery Nurse - Early Years ALN Support

Cardiff | £95+ per day | Full-time | Term-time only

Some children just need a little more help to find their voice.

We're working with a specialist early years setting in Cardiff that supports young children with additional learning needs including autism, communication difficulties and complex developmental needs.

The team are looking for a patient, nurturing Nursery Nurse who understands that progress for some children might be learning to sit with a group, communicate a need, or simply feel safe enough to explore their environment.

If you enjoy working in early years but want a role where the work genuinely matters, this could be a brilliant fit.

What the days actually look like.

This isn't a typical nursery role.

You'll spend your time helping young children:

• develop communication and interaction skills
• explore sensory play and structured learning activities
• build trust and confidence with adults
• regulate emotions and feel safe in the classroom
• take part in routines that build independence

Some children may require additional support with personal care or mobility , so the role requires someone who is comfortable providing hands-on support where needed.
