Nursery Teaching Assistant
Job Title: Nursery Teaching Assistant – Cardiff Primary School
Location: North Cardiff
Start Date: 3rd March 2026
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:45am – 3:30pm
Pay: £90 per day, paid weekly
Contract: Temporary, until July 2026
Are you an experienced Nursery Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in Cardiff?
A friendly primary school in North Cardiff seeking a dedicated Nursery Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team. This role is ideal for someone with experience supporting young children, including those in Nursery, and who is comfortable assisting with elements of personal care such as nappy changes.
Key responsibilities:

Supporting learning and development in the Nursery classroom
*
Assisting with personal care routines, including nappy changes
*
Helping prepare resources and activities for Early Years children
*
Supporting the teacher in delivering engaging and safe learning experiences
Requirements:
*
Previous experience as a Nursery Teaching Assistant, preferably in Early Years settings
*
Comfort with personal care tasks, including nappy changing
*
Registration with the EWC (we can assist with the process if needed)
*
Enhanced DBS (assistance with application can be provided)
*
Passion for working with young children in a Cardiff Primary School
