Planning Leader - Component Repair
- Drive adherence to plan via Production Schedulers (direct reports) and ensure Repair plans support Engines Overhaul plans
- Monitor labour hours & proactively identify opportunities for improvements
- Support development of digital planning tools
- Work alongside the Operations Leaders and Repair Engineers for FTY improvement projects
- Proactively identify opportunities for labour-flexing across repair shops / site, ensuring that production plans are always met whilst labour capacity is always fully utilized
- Use information provided by Site Data Analyst and Production
- Schedulers to optimize repair plans, minimizing cost and TAT.
- Work with CRW Operations leaders on training plans, productivity and utilization
- Co-ordinate the 4 repair stream strategies
- Work with the Site Data Analyst / SIOP leader on headcount requirements
- Monitor labour hour booking practices to ensure accurate reporting
- Work with wider planning team on short/long term business planning; labour and tooling capacity
- Coach and mentor direct reports
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university of college, or equivalent knowledge and experience
- Experience of working in a manufacturing environment
- Proven analytical and organizational ability
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Must work well under pressure with the ability to make logical decisions in short timeframes
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Experienced user of ERP systems (e.g. SAP)
- Knowledge of Lean principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal & leadership skills
- Works well with teams and individual at all levels of the business
