An exciting opportunity for an experienced ECC Veterinary Surgeon to join a busy emergency hospital in South Wales, UK. This permanent night role offers a varied caseload, excellent facilities, and the chance to work alongside a highly skilled and supportive team.
This position is ideal for a confident ECC clinician who enjoys managing complex emergency cases, working independently while still benefiting from strong team support and excellent nursing care.
The Role
- Permanent night position
- 7 nights on / 7 nights off rota
- Average 46.25 hours per week
- Manage a varied and rewarding ECC caseload including complex medical and surgical cases
- Work alongside experienced vets supported by a large team of RVNs, Animal Care Assistants, and reception staff
- Excellent clinical autonomy with the ability to work cases up thoroughly

Requirements
- Experienced Veterinary Surgeon with ECC experience
- Confident managing emergency cases independently
- Strong clinical decision-making and emergency care skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced emergency hospital environment
- RCVS registered (or eligible)
Salary & Benefits
- Salary up to £100,000 DOE
- 7 on / 7 off rota supporting excellent work-life balance
- 5 days CPD with £1,750 budget
- Certificate support available
- RCVS and VDS fees paid
- 8 weeks holiday
