Responsibilities

• Prepare and fry fish, chips, and other menu items according to standard recipes and quality guidelines.
• Operate frying equipment safely and efficiently ensuring proper temperature control.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the fry station and kitchen area at all times.
• Monitor food inventory and notify management of any shortages or issues.
• Ensure all food preparation complies with health and safety regulations.
• Assist in receiving and storing deliveries accurately and hygienically.
• Work collaboratively with other kitchen and front-of-house staff to provide exceptional service.

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a fryer or in a similar kitchen role is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety and hygiene.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
