Fryer
FINTANS FISH & CHIP CO is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Fryer to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and fry fish, chips, and other menu items according to standard recipes and quality guidelines.
- Operate frying equipment safely and efficiently ensuring proper temperature control.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the fry station and kitchen area at all times.
- Monitor food inventory and notify management of any shortages or issues.
- Ensure all food preparation complies with health and safety regulations.
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries accurately and hygienically.
- Work collaboratively with other kitchen and front-of-house staff to provide exceptional service.
Requirements
- Previous experience working as a fryer or in a similar kitchen role is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety and hygiene.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Willingness to follow instructions and learn new techniques to improve food preparation.
