Location :County Hall, Cardiff CouncilHours Per Week :37.00Start Date : immediate StartStart Time :09:00End Time :17:00Salary: £29.34CHADAn exciting opportunity for an experienced Social Worker to join our Child Health & Disability Team has arisen in Cardiff. The team is currently operating on a mixed – working from home, agile and within local office space (County Hall). You will need:• A Degree or Masters in Social Work Diploma in SW (or equivalent). • Experience of working within a Child Health & Disability Team• Experience of working as part of multi-disciplinary team around children The main duties of the post holder will be:• Working alongside a multi-agency team of professionals, in partnership with families.• To use the Signs of Safety approach to underpin social work practice• Contribute to the development and maintenance of effective systems to ensure quality services.• Complete Wellbeing Assessments, child protection enquiry and develop and review care and support plans.• Working in a multiagency capacity to support families• Attendance at Child Protection Conferences, Children who are Looked After Review and Court may be required. • Provide specialist advice and support across the wider children’s services team in respect to children with additional needs.• Participate in the team duty rota.• Participate in regular team meetings.• Demonstrate a high level of good quality written and verbal practice. • Provide peer support to newly qualified social workers.
