Welsh Speaking SEN Teaching Assistant

Are you a fluent Welsh speaker with a passion for supporting children with additional learning needs? We are currently recruiting for a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to work within a welcoming and supportive school in the CF5 area of Cardiff .

This role is offered through Teaching Personnel , with the opportunity to make a real difference in pupils' lives until the end of the summer term.

• Supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) on a 1:1 and small group basis

• Assisting the class teacher with tailored learning activities

• Encouraging engagement, independence, and confidence

• Creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

• Using Welsh language skills daily in the classroom

• Fluent Welsh speaker (essential)

• Experience working with children or young people (SEN experience desirable)

• Patient, empathetic, and proactive approach

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
