SEN Support Assistant

Salary: from £93 per day About Us Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with 3 vibrant and inclusive specialist SEN schools based in Cardiff. The 3 schools have a strong community ethos and are dedicated to ensuring every child can thrive—academically, socially, and emotionally. The schools range in ages, providing support for pupils between the ages of 3-19 so being flexible to work across age groups is essential. Teaching Personnel are now seeking enthusiastic, compassionate, and proactive SEN Support Assistants to join our team to work across the 3 provisions. The Role As an SEN Support assistant, you will play a key role in helping pupils with a range of additional needs to access learning and succeed in school. This may include supporting pupils with: Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC)
Speech, language, and communication needs
Social, emotional, and behavioural needs
Physical or sensory needs
Cognitive and severe learning difficulties
Your responsibilities as an SEN support assistant will include: Providing in a 1:1, or small group setting
Implementing tailored learning and support programmes
Assisting the class teacher with planning and differentiation
Supporting pupils to develop independence and confidence
Contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment
