Junior Project Manager
We are working with a reputable, busy Mechanical & Electrical contractor, delivering high-quality design, installation, and maintenance services across commercial and industrial projects throughout the UK. The business is well established, with a strong pipeline of work and is recognised for its high staff retention and collaborative team environment. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a Junior Mechanical Project Manager to join their expanding delivery team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual to step into project management and develop their career within a supportive and experienced team, working on mechanical building services projects ranging from £100k to £10M. Reporting to a Senior Project Manager, you will assist in the successful delivery of projects from pre-construction through to completion. Key responsibilities will include: * Supporting the delivery of mechanical projects from start to finish * Assisting with programme management and coordination of works * Working closely with site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers * Supporting health, safety, and quality compliance on projects * Assisting with procurement of materials and subcontractors * Monitoring project progress and reporting to senior management * Attending client and site meetings * Supporting cost control and budget tracking Requirements: * Previous experience within Mechanical Building Services (site, design, or estimating background considered) * Strong organisational and communication skills * Good understanding of construction processes and project delivery * Proficient in Microsoft Office and general IT systems * Ability to work both independently and as part of a team * Eagerness to learn and progress into a Project Management role What’s on offer: * Competitive salary (negotiable depending on experience) * Full training and clear career progression into Project Management * Supportive and collaborative team environment * Exposure to a wide range of high-value and technically challenging projects This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career and develop into a fully-fledged Project Manager within a growing and forward-thinking MEP contractor.
