Video Editor - Wales
Reform UK is looking for a Video Editor to lead the production of high-impact video content across Wales. You will transform speeches, media appearances, campaign activity and rapid-response messaging into sharp, engaging video that drives reach, shapes narrative, and converts attention into political momentum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit daily short-form video content for X, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
- Produce fast-turnaround reactive clips responding to Scottish political developments and media moments.
- Create campaign adverts, promotional videos, and fundraising content.
- Add subtitles, motion graphics, sound design and branding to optimise content for platform performance.
- Work closely with the social media and campaign teams to ensure message discipline and maximum impact.
Requirements:
- Proven video editing experience in political, campaign, media, or fast-paced commercial environments.
- Strong proficiency in Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve or similar editing software.
- Basic motion graphics capability (After Effects or equivalent) preferred.
- Strong instinct for pacing, narrative framing and attention retention.
- Understanding of social platform algorithms and short-form content optimisation.
- Comfortable operating in a high-pressure, politically charged environment.
- A strong commitment to the values and mission of Reform UK.
This is a hands-on role with direct impact on Reform UK Wales’ growth, reach and electoral success.
