The role focuses exclusively on Property & Financial Affairs Court of Protection matters, offering the chance to develop deep technical expertise within a supportive and collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities Managing a caseload of Court of Protection Property & Affairs matters from instruction through to conclusionActing on behalf of local authorities, deputies, and vulnerable clientsPreparing and submitting applications to the Court of Protection, including deputyship applicationsOverseeing and managing client finances, including budgeting, reporting, and financial administrationLiaising with families, care providers, and other relevant professionalsEnsuring compliance with all regulatory and professional standardsSupporting wider team growth and contributing to a positive team culture Candidate Profile Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or experienced Fee EarnerProven experience handling Court of Protection Property & Affairs workExperience working with or acting for local authorities is highly desirableStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy caseload independentlyExcellent communication and client care skills, particularly when working with vulnerable individualsA proactive, team-oriented approach What's on Offer Opportunity to join a rapidly growing and ambitious firmHigh-quality, consistent work from established public sector clientsClear progression opportunities as the team expandsSupportive and collaborative working environmentFlexible / hybrid working optionsCompetitive salary and benefits package
