Special Resource Base Teacher

We are currently seeking an inspiring SRB Teacher to join a welcoming and well-resourced primary school in Cardiff.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a Specialist Resource Base (SRB) supporting pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN). The school has two established SRB provisions, each with a small cohort of around 10 pupils, allowing for a highly personalised, nurturing approach to learning.

Deliver engaging, tailored lessons to meet a range of ALN needs
Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
Work closely with experienced Teaching Assistants and SEN staff
Monitor and track pupil progress, celebrating every success
Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families

✨ What We’re Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience working with ALN/SEN pupils (preferred but not essential)
A patient, compassionate, and adaptable approach
Strong behaviour management and communication skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
