Associate Civil Engineer

Our client are an award winning multi disciplinary design consultancy who are ain industry leader in innovative design across a wide range of sectors.

This company have an exciting opportunity for an Princiapal/Associate level candidate to lead their Civil Infrastructure team in Cardiff.

This role will give you the opportunity to work with a team of experienced and developing Civil Engineers and you will oversee all aspects of our clients projects from inception to completion.

You will advise on the delivery of a wide range of regional and national projects in the development and infrastructure sectors, from strategic urban extensions, logistics parks, and urban regeneration projects.

You will work closely with other senior members of our clients team and the wider business, to deliver key and important projects for our clients. You will also mentor, guide and inspire more junior colleagues across our clients Civil Engineering team.

What you need to succeed

You will be degree qualified in civil engineering or similar and professionally qualified to either CEng or IEng.


Ideally, you will have expertise in infrastructure design to deliver multi-disciplinary projects for the entire lifecycle – from concept and planning through to detailed design and delivery; highway design and on-site supervision experience is preferable.


You will have a proven record of delivering projects closely with clients across technical disciplines and experience of mentoring and managing the workload of junior team members.


Skills with Civils 3D, MicroDrainage and utility coordination.


You will be focused on achieving coordinated solutions, a tactical thinker and effective at communicating with both internal and external parties (for example utility companies, drainage authorities, highway authorities)
