Personal Injury/Industrial Disease Solicitor – Cardiff
Join a Legal 100 specialist claimant-focused team of expert solicitors provides specialist advice to clients who have suffered preventable injuries or workplace-related illnesses.
The Role:
This opportunity is available for a newly qualified Solicitor up to 3PQE to manage a diverse caseload of personal injury and industrial disease claims.
What you will do:
- Taking initial client enquiries and drafting witness statements
- Managing disclosure and reviewing documents
- Keeping clients updated on their claims
- Assisting in instructing counsel and preparing court documents
- Preparing detailed schedules of loss
- Assessing complex medical or occupational health issues and reviewing expert reports
- Advising on offers and settlement negotiations
- Proactively managing a caseload with minimal supervision
- Supporting and supervising the Paralegal team
Skills & Qualifications:
- Exposure to claimant litigation is essential
- Previous industrial disease or personal injury experience is advantageous but not essential
