Assistant Accountant
We are a successful long-established engineering and manufacturing business situated close to Cardiff city centre, looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Accountant to join our Finance Team.
The Role:
You will be a key member of the team, helping to maintain accurate financial records and ensure smooth day-to-day accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Managing accounts payable; processing invoices, reconciling and paying accounts
• Daily treasury function including posting and reconciling bank transactions
• Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
• Assisting with the preparation of management accounts and reports
Requirements:
• Part-qualified or qualified by experience
• Strong numeracy and attention to detail
• Proficient in Excel and experience with accounting software
• Good organisational and communication skills
