Are you a passionate, resilient, and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking to make a real impact? We are recruiting for a Specialist Resource Base (SRB) within a welcoming and well-supported primary school in the CF23 area . This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with pupils who require additional support, helping them thrive both academically and emotionally.

You will be working within a specialist provision supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs , including:

• Autism (ASD)
• ADHD
• Speech & Language needs
• Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH)

Your role will involve:

• Providing 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual learning needs
• Supporting pupils with routine, structure, and emotional regulation
• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement EHCP targets
• Encouraging positive behaviour using proactive strategies and consistency
• Assisting with personal development, communication, and social skills

• Previous experience working with SEN or vulnerable children (school, care, youth work, or personal experience)
• A calm, patient and nurturing approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
• Someone who is reliable, adaptable, and committed long-term

• Work in a highly supportive SRB with experienced staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
