Contract Type: Fixed Term 1 year, in the first instance.
Working Pattern: 2 full days per week - Wednesdays and Thursdays

Salary: M1–UPS3 / £31,650 - £51,048 (pro-rata - 2 days per week)

• The music role is 2 days per week to cover PPA time - Wednesdays and Thursdays, with 4 lessons over the course of each day (KS1-KS2).

Grangetown is a medium-sized primary school, close to Sunderland city centre and on the coast. We have beautiful grounds, a spacious modern building and excellent facilities (including a music and performing arts ‘studio’ type room). We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative and high-quality teacher of national curriculum music to work across the school on Wednesdays and Thursdays. The role will involve teaching whole class music across Key Stages 1 and 2, covering PPA time for our class teachers.

We would like you to play a key role in helping us to develop a varied and inspiring music curriculum, providing the children with the opportunity to enjoy music and singing, to develop their knowledge and skills and to have opportunities for performance.
