Locum Social Worker within CASP, CP, PLO and Court team, Cardiff, £38.43 Hourly, Ongoing

We have an exciting opportunity for experienced Social Workers to join our Locality team in Cardiff, earning £38.43 per hour on an ongoing locum basis. Cardiff, the vibrant capital city of Wales, offers a fantastic environment to live and work. This position supports part-time and full-time roles. We are seeking seasoned social workers with at least three years of post-qualification experience to tackle mainly Child Protection cases, including those involving the Child Protection Register, Pre-Proceedings (PLO), and Court cases . A qualification with Social Care Wales is required. What you will do:

- Safeguard children and build upon family relationships to support and empower them in making critical life decisions.
- Work closely with children at risk and their families, ensuring their needs are met to prevent escalation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams under the Wales Safeguarding Procedures.
- Conduct thorough assessments and create effective Child Protection plans.
- Deliver high-quality social work services, focusing on child-centred approaches and delivering positive outcomes.
- Liaise with other agencies to ensure comprehensive support for families.
