BIM Technician
Full‑time, Permanent
A leading independent Building Services contractor operating across England & Wales are hiring for a BIM Technician. The company is a well known partner to national blue‑chip contractors.
The Role
Join an established BIM Team producing accurate 2D drawings and developing 3D models in Autodesk Revit. You’ll ensure deliverables are efficient, coordinated and completed within project parameters from design through to handover.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and manage Revit MEP models for building‑services projects
* Produce accurate 3D models and 2D drawings across the project lifecycle
* Review/update models and drawings as the design evolves
* Coordinate MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) packages with disciplines
* Perform clash detection and resolve coordination issues
* Support project teams from design to construction handover
* Contribute to improving BIM workflows and digital engineering processes

Desirable
* Experience as a BIM Coordinator in a building‑services environment (or similar)
* Technical qualification (Engineering/Architecture/Design & Technology/Building Services)
* Good knowledge of Building Services systems (MEP)
* Good knowledge of BIM terminology
* Proficient with Navisworks (clash detection)
* Proficient with AutoCAD
* Strong Revit MEP skills (systems modelling, schedules)
* Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint)
* Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
