Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:15pm
Pay: £95 per day via PAYEE with weekly pay
Start Date: 27 th of April 2026

Teaching Personnel is offering a fantastic opportunity to step into the classroom as an Unqualified Teaching Assistant -no prior school experience required. All we ask is that you bring enthusiasm, commitment, and a real desire to work with young people .

About the Role

Join a supportive and inclusive secondary school in Cardiff (CF5) , working with students aged 11-18 in a mainstream setting.

You'll support pupils with a range of needs, including:

• Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH)
• Additional Learning Needs (ALN)
• Autism (ASD) and ADHD

You'll also deliver targeted intervention sessions twice a week , with full training, resources, and ongoing guidance provided.

This is a close-knit, community-focused school that prioritises both student wellbeing and staff development-making it the perfect place to begin your journey in education.

What You'll Be Doing

• Supporting students 1:1 and in small groups
• Helping pupils build confidence, focus, and engagement
• Assisting teachers in delivering lessons and managing behaviour
• Creating a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
• Supporting tailored learning and behaviour plans
